Reconnecting to a Remote Host

Most FTP sites have an idle timeout. If you have a connection to a Remote Host but don't transfer any files then, eventually, the Remote Host may disconnect you.

With RS FTP reconnecting is a simple matter of clicking on the

button of the toolbar, or selecting Reconnect from the File Menu.

Whilst reconnecting, both the Abort Menu Option and the toolbar abort button

will both be active. Clicking on either of these will cancel the reconnection attempt.
